    Hello.

We’re seeing a fatal error during checkout which I think is related to your plugin.

PHP Warning: file_put_contents(/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-product-feed-manager/error.log): failed to open stream: Too many open files in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-product-feed-manager/includes/user-interface/wppfm-messaging.php on line 112, referer: https://www.porterbathroom.com/checkout/

PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/public_html/wp-includes/Requests/Exception.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php71/pear’) in /public_html/wp-includes/class-requests.php on line 146, referer: https://www.porterbathroom.com/checkout/

PHP Warning: require_once(/home/porterba/public_html/wp-includes/Requests/Exception.php): failed to open stream: Too many open files in /home/porterba/public_html/wp-includes/class-requests.php on line 146, referer: https://www.porterbathroom.com/checkout/

We’re running on Siteground which has a 30 open file limit.

Then in wp-product-feed-manager/error.log I see the following:
Error Message: PHP Warning: closedir() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in file /public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 168

Any reason the plugin is running during the checkout process and seemingly opening too many files?

    Thanks,

    Ian.

    Hello Ian,

I’ve not heard something like this happen before. I have no idea why our plugin runs at the check-out process. A few questions to get a better understanding of the issue:

    – What version of our plugin are you using? (If it’s not version 1.12.2, could you please update it and check again)
    – Are you using the free plugin?
    – Is the error gone when you temporary deselect our plugin?
    – Did you have this issue from the start of using our plugin? (if it worked OK at first, can you remember any changes you’ve made)
