    Hi there,

We are testing Wordfence. Unfortunately we encountered the next Fatal error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1048577 bytes) in /home/0012/sites/s1183/liguriaestate.com/web/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceScanner.php on line 132

    This happened after
“[Jan 12 21:31:14] Scanned contents of 914 additional files at 1.73 per second”

    Please advice.
    Best Regards
    Peter

    Hi Tim,

Thanks for your quick answer. I have checked with our hosting provider and when we are not mistaken and read the message right we are over 512Mb!

So pretty heavy, are sure the link is the solution? I am testing your plug also on another completely different site and there it looks like working well.

When it works we probably standardize to your plugin premium.

    Please advise,

    Best regards

    FYI

Wordfence Memory benchmarking utility version 5.3.4.
This utility tests if your WordPress host respects the maximum memory configured
in their php.ini file, or if they are using other methods to limit your access to memory.

    –Starting test–
Current maximum memory configured in php.ini: 512M
    Current memory usage: 55.25M
    Setting max memory to 90M.
Starting memory benchmark. Seeing an error after this line is not unusual. Read the error carefully
to determine how much memory your host allows. We have requested 90 megabytes.
Completing test after benchmarking up to 81.50 megabytes.
    –Test complete.–

That’s way heavy for a website. Can you try setting this value (http://docs.wordfence.com/en/Wordfence_options#Maximum_execution_time_for_each_scan_stage ) to 30?

    Hi Tim,

Thx, that’s the solution, scan complete!

But the size of the images is way out. Total site size today 1.7 GB against 1.63 GB of images, and the site is about 30% of the final size. So I have something to do today.

Thanks for you’re help! I will sign up for premium
    Peter
