    jetpack has a fatal error on my site:

    Warning: require_once(//wp/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack-client.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in XXXXX wp/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 70

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘//wp/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack-client.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/php’) in //wp/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php on line 70

    (i suppressed the full url)

    how do i resolve this? I don’t have access to the login page either… so only ftp solutions.

    Newbie and no wizzkid so talk slowly, please 😉

    Please access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the /jetpack/ directory you find there.

    That will restore your site to normal.

    Next, does the issue return if you re-install Jetpack from Plugins > Add New in your site’s Dashboard?

    If so, what version of WordPress and PHP are you running?
