Upgraded the plugin today and got the following:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home/artsyfra/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-tag-cloud-widget/ultimate-tag-cloud-widget.php on line 2

I think you are still running a PHP version before 5.3, right?

Version 2.2 uses PHP namespaces which requires PHP 5.3, maybe it people are still running PHP <5.3.

Try updating to 2.2.1, that should bring back compatibility with PHP 5.2.
