Fatal error in activating required plugin

    Trying to activate Meta Box as it’s required for a wp theme I just purchased. When I click activate, I get

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Warning: require_once(/var/www/wp-content/plugins/meta-box/inc/loader.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/meta-box/meta-box.php on line 28

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/wp-content/plugins/meta-box/inc/loader.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/remi/php73/root/usr/share/pear:/opt/remi/php73/root/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php’) in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/meta-box/meta-box.php on line 28

    Is there any easy way to resolve that? Thank you

    Hi,

    Please try to re-install the Meta Box plugin by following these steps:

    – Access your server > go to the folder /wp-content/plugins/ > delete the folder meta-box.

    – Back to the Admin Dashboard > go to Plugins > Add new > Search the plugin with the keyword meta box then install and activate it again.
