    You must update your php version to 5.3.3 and above. The Amazon SDK for PHP 2 that is used to connect to S3 requires it. You should ask your server admin they will probably have a solution.

    Note in changelog would have been helpful.

    How do I roll back to previous version as webhost isn’t likely to upgrade php in a hurry from 5.2.17 .

    Got webhost to update to php 5.3.16 now getting

    Fatal error: Call to a member function activation_hook() on a non-object in wordpress/wp-content/plugins/amazon-s3-uploads/asssu.php on line 17

    Updated to v 1.9.2 and it is all good now.
