Please read the error attentive, it says you have an old outdated wpDiscuz template file in your child theme /wpdiscuz/ folder. We’ve mentioned in all updated instruction that you should make sure you don’t have customized old template file before the update. So please remove your customized /wpdiscuz/ folder before updating to wpDiscuz 7.
/wp-content/themes/pro-child/wpdiscuz/
You can back up it if you’re going to add the same changes in current version.

Yeah I did not remove it before I updated but I did afterwards. So it does not work to remove it after the update? The code is no longer there meaning it should not interfere?

What do you mean?
I mean if you are a developer and you can do the same customization on wpDiscuz 7 template files, then backup the old customized template file to remember what had you done and try to do the same for the new one.
