I just checked the plug-ins and it seems to be due to a conflict with the Events calendar plugin. Would you be so kind to check on this? I do wish both plugins to be active.

I tried installing the Events Calendar plugin along with the Orbit Fox plugin but got no errors. Can you tell us what version of PHP and WordPress are you running?

I am using PHP version 7.4.26, when the php memory_limit is on 64M in the php.ini file the issue appears. When I use both plugins it gives the error message and my site becomes unavailable. I just found out that when increase the memory limit to 128M the issue does not appear. However, it feels that increasing the memory limit only hides the problem, not solve it.

Increasing memory limit is not something uncommon and plugins like Woocommerce actually recommend that you have it increased to 64MB as the more media-heavy your instance is, the more resources it needs. Of course, efficiency is important first, thus increasing the limit should only be necessary when nothing else can be done.
In your particular case, an option is to talk with your hosting provider and update to the more efficient and secure version of PHP which is 8.0. This could help out along with increasing the memory limit.
Also, you can try and install Server IP & Memory Usage Display plugin to see which plugins take more memory.
That being said, please let us know about your results and we’ll make the necessary adjustments if need be.
