Help! I just started using WordPress tonight & almost immediately ran into trouble; after a lot of Googling, clearing catches (both WordPress & several browsers), I finally ran across a problem that sounded similar to mine (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/appearance-on-admin-page-no-functionality). I read through, having already tried the early suggestions I went straight to this link: https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors
After getting the FTP up & working (a confusing mess in its self) I added the given script to wp-config.php, refreshed my wp-admin.php, and got this message back — Fatal error: Call to undefined function nocache_headers() in /home/content/a2pnexwpnas04_data01/88/3482888/html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 33

JavaScript is not my strong point & at this point I am completely lost on how to fix the problem. What do I do? Thanks!

For some reason I can’t get the wp-config.php without the script debugging line to upload to the server now.

I’ve tried to upload my local version of wp-config.php again & keeping getting ‘Error: Network error: Software caused connection abort’ back. I’ve also noticed that the current server wp-config is totally blank — could that be part of the problem?

Never mind, my host customer service suggested resetting the site. That worked, thanks anyway.
