When attempting to log-in to the admin page I get the error message:

Fatal error: Class ‘HM\BackUpWordPress\Setup’ not found in /home4/cindyhou/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/functions/core.php on line 287

And I’m not positive which version of WordPress I am running..although I’m pretty sure if it’s not the most recent version, I’m only one behind. No recent added plug-ins or theme changes, either. Suggestions appreciated, but keep in mind I’m a rookie at this – self-taught, by trial and error. Thank you in advance.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Thank you for your answer…when I attempted to log-in this morning, before beginning to attempt your suggestions, I was able to log-in and did not receive the fatal error message – weird, huh? Everything seems to be working properly…Thanks, again…

If it’s all working now, no need to do any of the above. 🙂
