Fatal error on installation

    Thank you for making this plugin!

    Unfortunately, I get the following error upon installation:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[', expecting ')' in /var/www/virtual/legallyg/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/uberbar/plugin.php on line 38

    I tried to fiddle around with the brackets on and around line 39, but just ran into further fatal parsing errors.

    Any idea how I could solve this?

    Your PHP version is older than 5.4. The default version on Uberspace is currently 5.5. You should update immediately, because 5.3 doesn’t get any security updates anymore.

    Thanks so much for your swift reply! Of course, this fixed it, and I should have updated PHP earlier anyway. 🙂
