    Hi,

I just installed Next Gen gallery and a soon as i went to use it i got a Fatal error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home1/statelyp/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/mvc/class.mvc_view_element.php on line 81

Im running Customizr and that is it.

Is this my servers fault? i read some people thought it was that?

But i saw a post by one of the developers saying they know the problem and ask they you go back to a previous version?…but that was a while ago, like 3-4 months….did they fix it?

  • @aaronjacksonbrown you have a very low PHP memory limit. You have to increase it by your own if you can, or if not you have to ask to your hosting provider.
If he says “no”, change provider because 40 MB of memory it’s not enough.

Thanks Tizz, im prettty sure it is the server i am on (suppsbly they are unlimited, well i bought unlimited.)

they also where running an old version of PHP, and i need php5.3.1… so they are migrating me across to another server, hopefully they allocate me more memory as well.

    Thanks for your help.
