I get this error when i go to activate the plugin:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home1/statelyp/public_html/wp-content/themes/customizr/inc/admin/class-admin-meta_boxes.php on line 47

Im thinking this is my hosts problem, not the program. Thoughts?

    Hi,

The error message means that your web hosting setup has a memory limit of only 40Mb for PHP programmes (like WordPress). This is much too low for a modern WordPress site. You must have been running right at the limit, and one more plugin pushes you over the limit. You should ask your web hosting company how to raise it.

From the stats I’ve seen, 85% of sites have 256Mb or more. 128Mb should be enough for the vast majority of modern WP sites.

Thanks David, yeh i had pretty much come to that conclusion too.

I have already contacted them about it.

Thing is i purchased a premium unlimited hosting..these guys are renowned for being dodgy, they are cheap though. (crazy domains)

Hopefully they fix it all up or i will have to go else where.

    Thanks for the info. Cheers.
