Fatal Error unexpected T_FUNCTION

    When trying to activate GamiPress, I get this error message:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in /wp-content/plugins/gamipress/includes/user.php on line 606

    I de-activated all other plugins and am still getting it. Also switched the theme to the standard wordpress theme.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @alexanderkohl

    This issue comes from your hosting since it has an old PHP version, probably, a PHP version less than 5.3 to get this issue

    Contact to your hosting provider to update your PHP at least to the minimum required by WordPress (PHP v5.6) or one of the newest that are safest in all terms (PHP v7.X)
