Fatal error when activating the plugin

    Hi,

    I am trying to activate the plugin on my blog but immediately I get the following error:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare getcategoryname() (previously declared in /var/www/vhosts/pilatesbridge.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/paid-business-listings-pro/inc/functions.php:26) in /var/www/vhosts/pilatesbridge.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/inc/excerpt_functions.php on line 73

    It looks like a conflict with another plugin that I am using (I can’t deactivate that plugin because it is essential for the performance of my website.)

    Do you know if there might be some way to work around this problem?

    what template are you using?

    The easiest way, if you know how to edit the files, is change the function name to, like

    getMycategoryname

    then go into the template you want to use and find the same function and change it to the same name.

    So, first, go into the excerpt_functions.php file, find the function called getcategoryname and change the name, then save. then you should have no problem activating the plugin.
