    We updated GiveWP to its latest version on one of our websites (www.stnicholasmonroeville.org) this morning. But it caused a critical error and we deactivated and removed the plugin manually to get the site back up and running. We then attempted to install the updated version of GiveWP directly from the WordPress repository. But the plugin would not activate and gave us the following error message:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Stripe\Stripe’ not found in C:\WebSites\www.stnicholasmonroeville.org\wp-content\plugins\give\includes\gateways\stripe\includes\give-stripe-helpers.php:561 Stack trace: #0 C:\WebSites\www.stnicholasmonroeville.org\wp-content\plugins\give\includes\gateways\stripe\includes\class-give-stripe-gateway.php(163): give_stripe_set_app_info() #1 C:\WebSites\www.stnicholasmonroeville.org\wp-content\plugins\give\includes\gateways\stripe\includes\class-give-stripe-gateway.php(90): Give_Stripe_Gateway->set_api_version() #2 C:\WebSites\www.stnicholasmonroeville.org\wp-content\plugins\give\includes\gateways\stripe\includes\class-give-stripe-webhooks.php(44): Give_Stripe_Gateway->__construct() #3 C:\WebSites\www.stnicholasmonroeville.org\wp-content\plugins\give\includes\gateways\stripe\includes\class-give-stripe-webhooks.php(308): Give_Stripe_Webhooks->__construct() #4 C:\WebSites\www.stnicholasmonroeville.org\wp-content\plugins\give\includes\gateways\stripe\class-give-stripe.php(177): require_once(‘C:\ in C:\WebSites\www.stnicholasmonroeville.org\wp-content\plugins\give\includes\gateways\stripe\includes\give-stripe-helpers.php on line 561

    We currently only run Elementor, Elementor Pro, Akismet Anti-Spam, Yoast SEO Premium, WP Rocket, and WP Mail SMTP on this website. The WordPress version is 5.5.3, PHP version 7.4.7. Theme is Hello, Elementor.

    Please advise and help us fix the issue. Thank you.

    Hi @webadmin92,

    The error message indicates that some of the plugin files are missing or incomplete.

    The Stripe class is found in the give/vendor/stripe/strpe-php folder.

    I suggest you reinstall the plugin via FTP. Once the plugin has been copied to your server, compare the plugin folder contents on your server and your computer to make sure all files have been copied over.
