Fatal error when trying to make config changes

    I am now getting the following error message when trying to do certain Jetpack config updates. On some, like the page wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack&configure=monitor I get a blank page, otherwise I get the following error:

    This seems to be a server configuration error. Could you contact your hosting provider, and ask them to make sure php7.0-xml is installed, or a similar extension for your server’s installation of PHP?

    Yes, that was it; thank you so much. I had just upgraded the server from Ubuntu 12.04 to 16.04, and of course PHP from 5 to 7, and as I suspected, missing dependencies.

    For anyone else with this problem:
    Also once that was installed, had to detach and re-attach the installation from my wordpress.com account.
