    Hey guys,

I just updated to version 3.1.4 of BackUpWordPress. Can’t activate the extension because it triggered a fatal error.

“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/avenuese/www/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/backupwordpress.php on line 34”

    I’m using WordPress 4.1.1

    Thanks in advance,
    Jean-Charles

    Hello

This is because the server where your website is hosted is running an outdated version of PHP.
You should be able to get them to upgrade your install to PHP 5.4 or 5.5 by contacting their support.
