Hey @eysiox,
The function filter_var is a built-in PHP function. I would contact your host or server admin and ask them whey they don’t support the built-in PHP function.
Let me know if that helps~

I host the machine myself on my server which runs under freenas @corylamleorg
Hey @eysiox,
You might check your php.ini disabled_functions parameter to see if it’s disabled. There are quite a few links on google. Here is one that might help:

Hope the that helps~

I looked at the site you shared with me, but there wasn’t even any information on linen or disabling “show_source, system, shell_exec.”
I don’t know what to do anymore.

I just checked I’m under version “7.2.30” of php my error may come from here
Yeah, you might also look at the forums where you downloaded the version your using and see why they may have bundled PHP without that function enabled. That is a very rare thing, its not very often that we see that issue. In all cases it’s really out of the Plugins ability to do anything because its a core method that PHP uses.
Cheers~

I think I will re-install WordPress however would you have an updated tutorial that works under FreeNas 11.3U2
Hey @eysiox,
We don’t have a tutorial exactly for that version, but in general, most of the videos/tutorials we have are really independent of server setups.
Thxs~

I’ve managed to reinstall everything I needed, the good thing is that I no longer get a long error message but I still can’t create a package.
