Hello DF, I’m checking the bug you reported, for the moment I can not simulate the error in my wordpress sites, now do a more thorough analysis and let you know something.
I’m not able to recreate this error too.
Could you, please, check:
-Your PHP version
-Apache Version
-WordPress Version
and provide us a link to your blog?
Thanks,
Eugenio

Massimo – thank you very much for your effort! It worked a couple of versions ago on this plattform.
I’m looking foreward because I’m not able to change the hosters software …
Robert
I am also getting Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Any solution for this?
I am getting the same fatal error running Word Press 3.7.1. Thanks in advance for working on it.
Also how do I contact one of the developers? I hoping to hire one for some development. thanks in advance
the problem should be related only to those who are using php 5.2, now I have made a change to the plugin removing functions not present in 5.2 and replacing them with something that will make the same operation. Check if it works with new version 1.6.6 of the plugin and let me know as soon as possible.

Regarding the issue on php 5.2, Massimo is looking for a fallback in order to avoid this problem on the old installations of PHP.
Everyone is invited to upgrade PHP on his own server. Ask to your hosting if this is possible, because PHP 5.2 is not a stable version of php, 5.3 version is! 🙂
