I installed this plugin as it appears to do exactly what I want. Unfortunately it crashed my site :-/

The error I got was about setting a date. Something like “Line 54 in Date.php”. It then locked me out of my entire WP-Admin console.

I managed to get back into WP by changing this plugins directory name via FTP. I put an X at the beginning of the folder name in plugins (i.e. XPost-Status-Notifier-Lite). When you go back to the plugins page it will have automatically disabled the plugin and allow you to delete it. Also when you check which files it is deleting, it is taking the correct directory, even with the X in it, so that’s good.

I’m not complaining about the plugin itself as I haven’t tried it yet, and I’m quite sure that once this little compatibility problem is resolved that it will be fine.

I’m hoping the developer can resolve this soon as I am still very eager to use this plugin. Fingers crossed.

    Thanks 🙂

Sorry for the inconvenience. This was a bug which only happens with PHP 5.2 (had nothing to do with WP 3.6).
It has been fixed already for the premium version as well as it got additional features (Bcc field and SMTP support). The fix has been released for the free version right now and will be ready with version 1.0.5

Just a hint for the future: I never test plugins the first time in production environment. Even good plugins may have problems under certain server configurations they were never tested before.

If you have any questions about PSN feel free to contact me.
