The update 2.0.5 to 2.0.8 causes here a fatal error. Had to deactivate your plugin by renaming it (using WordPress 5.7):

Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function activate_plugin() in /homepages/45/d616284114/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Butenploener/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-faqs/Main.php:5

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Similar situation. Came in this morning and noticed that my site was down and had been for nearly 12 hours. Some emails directed me to the Ultimate FAQs 2.0.8 update. Unfortunately, I couldn’t easily get to my admin site. I found a way to enter recovery mode and then got into the plugin’s section. WordPress automatically disabled Ultimate FAQs with this message, “The plugin ultimate-faqs/Main.php has been deactivated due to an error: The plugin does not have a valid header.” I am leaving the plugin disabled until we receive a reasonable response.
