    Hello,

activating NextGEN Facebook (NGFB) Version 7.6.13.1, I get the following error, which disappears as soon as I deactivate just NGFB:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function woocommerce_product_loop_start() in /kunden/355855_76337/wp/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-shortcodes.php on line 182

Certain plugins, like WooCommerce and BuddyPress (for example), make significant changes between releases. An update should be released shortly (this afternoon or tomorrow) to bring NGFB up to speed with their latest changes.

Let me know if the problem persists with v7.6.13.2 (it should address that issue). 😉

BTW, for now, you can uncheck the ‘Apply Content Filter’ option on the NGFB Advanced settings page — that should prevent that shortcode from being expanded, and thus bypass the WooCommerce issue (FYI – the issue is with WooCommerce – they don’t load the shortcode functions on the admin side). :p

Everything working out with the new version?

unfortunately not. I still get the same error when I activate the plugin. But I also get the error from a different plugin, but that doesn’t break the page completely.

Oh, it just clicked – you’re using the Free version. Sorry, I should have caught on to that earlier (doh!). 🙂 Support for WooCommerce (and many other plugins) is included with the Pro version.

    There are 3 possible solutions:

    – Disable the use of content filters by NGFB (described above).
    – Report the issue to WooCommerce so they can fix it (they purposefully don’t include some shortcode library files on the admin side).
    – Purchase the Pro version.

This support forum is for Free plugins, so I won’t go on about the 3rd option, but this FAQ might help you understand the benefits: http://surniaulula.com/codex/plugins/wpsso/notes/addons/woocommerce/ 😉

I’ll close this thread since the issue can be resolved by choosing any one or those three options. Let me know if you have any further questions about the Free version. If you have any questions about the Pro version, please use our ticketing system at: http://support.ngfb.surniaulula.com/support/home

Sorry, but it is not possible to disable the use of content filters in this version. I reported the bug to Woocommerce already, but – despide of free or premium plugins – they don’t care much about bugs and are extremely slow with any response – if at all. So the only option is to buy the pro version, where I still don’t know that it would work, as WPML and Woo extensions are paid and work neither properly.

The Pro version has a 30 day refund policy, so you can always give it a spin and see. If you have any questions on the Pro version, open a ticket at http://support.ngfb.surniaulula.com/support/home.

    Thanks,
