• Hello everyone,

I am encountering an annoying problem with my wordpress website.
I changed the theme, and one of my plugin doesn’t seem to be working properly.
Here is the page that use the plugin : [ redundant link removed ]

    The error message is :
Fatal error: Cannot declare class wp_booking_calendar_public_setting, because the name is already in use in /home/soccercl/www/wp-content/plugins/wp-booking-calendar/public/class/settings.class.php on line 3

I don’t really understand what it means… If someone has a guess on how to solve this problem this would save my life as I just spend a lot of time working on the new theme and really need this specific plugin to work.

    Thank you,
Wishing you all a great day!

Your wp-booking-calendar plugin seems to be the error.

Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and rename the directory of wp-booking-calendar plugin something like wp-content/plugins/wp-booking-calendarHOLD.

Next, report the issue to the plugin’s author so that they can take action as appropriate.

    Hello @t-p ,

Thank you for your swift answer!
I can’t contact the authors, that’s why I was asking for help over.

It is indeed the wp-booking-calendar that seems to conflict with the theme.
I was wondering if there was some magic trick or code I could edit to make them work together.

    Thanks!

Are you using a commercial plugin?

Or, are you using a free plugin from the WP plugin directory https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/ ? If so, which one? Exact URL please.

I actually have no idea as it wasn’t me who installed it.
I can’t find it, they all have similar names :/

Here’s what it’s called on the plugin section : http://www.soccerclub.be/screen1.png
Here’s the link it sends me when I click on the author:
    https://www.wachipi.com/

    Which is really odd…

    I found it, it’s this one : https://codecanyon.net/item/wp-booking-calendar/4639530

But the authors don’t offer support anymore…

If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
