Fatal Parse Error when attempting to activate plugin

    I installed the plugin, but when I go to activate it, I get the following error:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home2/popfixn1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpsolr-search-engine/solr_services.php on line 327

    I downloaded the file and checked line 327, but the only character on that line is a ” { “.

    Please help!
