• If you are going to give another site the ability to be a Word Press Web Host then their clients should have the same web experience your own clients have. Every time you make major changes I lose my access to my own blog (http://brissioni.com/). Suddenly my stats are reading zero (0) every day and they shouldn’t. I am unable to activate your new publicize feature. I keep getting a message that I don’t have the authority to access my stats page directly. Are you trying to get me to leave goDaddy and migrate to wordpress? I have over 1,000 posts and I have no idea how to change or which forum is best. Stop messing with my account and straighten it out please.

I’m sorry, do you have a complaint about your hosting? If so then these forums are not really the place to post this.

If there’s a WordPress problem we can help you with then yes, this is the place.

WordPress never automatically updates to major releases. So you may have gone from 4.0 to 4.0.1 but you will not upgrade automatically to 4.1 (when it’s released).

I hold you responsible when my current web host arrangement no longer works because goDaddy is just a conduit and it has been working fine – all changes have come from your umbrella organization. I must not be explaining myself clearly, but goDaddy is not the reason that my blog is blocked or is not working. I put a lot of time and energy into blogging and something happened last week that shut down my blog. I can post to it but no one can visit it.

Not sure what you’ve talking about. I can visit it fine. What exactly happened when your blog “shut down”?

ww.wp.xz.cn does not offer hosting services.

WordPress does not have an account on you. If you’re referring to your forum account then that does not relate in any way to your personal website.

Jan Dembowski is a forum moderator. You do not hold him responsible.

WordPress (at ww.wp.xz.cn) is not an organisation.

This is all very confusing. I always think I can talk to WordPress.com but they have no help or support staff so I always end up talking to goDaddy and they say the problem did not originate with them and then I talk to you folks because you have a support group although you host no sites (mind-boggling) I am 70 and I just like to write and post, but I enjoy seeing my stats. Lately the stats page I used to consult says I am not authorized to access it and the new stats page says I have had no visitors, although I have had visitors every day recently. It’s just too confusing for me. Blogging used to be simple, but not now. I don’t really want to quit but I wish updates and changes were automatic. But obviously one cannot talk to the right people, only to a group that does the unspecified things you guys do.

I always think I can talk to WordPress.com

WordPress.com is not the same as here – which is ww.wp.xz.cn. This explains the differences:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Since your site is on GoDaddy, that’s a self-hosted site (which would be supported here) – but the connection to WordPress.COM is likely that you are using JetPack plugin for Stats (among other things). JetPack is developed and supported by WordPress.COM – and if you are having issues with your Stats you can ask the JetPack support team for help by posting on their forum here:

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/jetpack#postform

They are really smart and helpful – so I’m sure they will be able to help you get this sorted out.

BTW, yes, it’s confusing sometimes :)!
