Favicon issue breaking https

Hi,

We are testing the implementation of https and migrated the website to test location with https implemented. All pages are all right except the posts associated with Memphis plugin and only when using Chrome or Opera browsers. For some reason these posts are not the theme favicon and the one it has picked is not https compliant: http://prntscr.com/h2r8fa

I already noticed that Memphis posts and pages were not showing the website favicon. On the mention webpage I can find the direct reference reference to the address http://www.ngns-is.com/favicon.ico but found it the the database.

Is there a fix?

I will take a look at this issue, and get back to you. I have no idea why mDocs would be altering the favicon, I can see it on my test site so I will do some test and see what I can find.

How are you loading your favicon are you using the WordPress appearance editor?

ill keep looking but what I have found so far is that if your clear your internet cache the favicon shows up.

Still can’t manage to make visible with Opera or Chrome. With these two the https error appears on every page created by the plugin: http://prntscr.com/h7wfkf

You can try the page itself: https://ngns-is.com/test04/mdocuments-library/

I installed a new WordPress on a sub-directory of http://www.ngns-is.com and although the favicon was set (see https://ngns-is.com/test04/) the Memphis seem to be calling for another one at http://www.ngns-is.com/favicon.ico, which doesn’t exist.

The mdocs page at the backoffice is still the only page where the favicon doesn’t show up.

At the frontend it’s not working for the main page where mdocs shortcode is implemented (http://prntscr.com/iniwar). It works for the posts.

Just solve this issue by adding a favicon.ico file with the Site Icon to the root of the website.

I thought it would be added from the theme customization (https://prnt.sc/k2i4vm) as for all other website pages but, anyway, it’s working now.
