Favorite entire URL string

    Hi 🙂

    This plugin is simple, yet very effective!

    Is it possible to add a parameter to include the entire URL string of the page the Favorite Button is on?

    I’m asking because I’m using the Ultimate Membership Pro plugin and would like to have a page on it where businesses in a directory can be “favorited”… but the way the plugin lists the public profile pages is from a main “/members/” page and then it attaches the username to the end of the “/members/” page and dynamically pulls in the details for that member within the page template.

    So, I’m wondering if it’s possible to add a parameter to include the entire URL string of the page the Favorite Button is on to save the whole URL as the link that is listed on the post within the Favorite post list?

    Hello @danice ,

    Thank you for your rating and your question.
    Sorry for the delay in answering.

    Unfortunately, I don’t think it is possible with the standard functionality of this plugin.

    This is because the only value that the favorite button can send to the database or local storage is the post ID.
    Therefore, user IDs and taxonomy IDs cannot be stored.

    Please refer to the topic that explains the values that can be stored, although the case may be different.

    If you would like to add your own functionality to your favorite list, please try this shortcode.

    You can customize the list view.
