FB comments import and permalinks

    I see this in the cron log:

    2013-05-31 08:40:37 : Getting posts, SQL was Select ID FROM wp_posts WHERE post_date BETWEEN ‘2013-05-21 08:40:37’ AND ‘2013-05-31 08:40:37’

    Does this mean that the plugin will search ONLY for mysite.com?id=1 and not for mysite.com/postone.html?

    Is this plugin working with permalinks?

    Is it working at all?

    I could not make it work as of now..

    Please help!

    The plugin works without regard for permalinks. It doesn’t matter whether you are using ?id=1 or /month/year/title/ or just /title/ or whatever.

    The plugin is working fine – so if it isn’t working for you you’ve either not configured it correctly or you’ve misunderstood what it does.

    WPBook Lite will look for comments on WordPress posts *which it has also cross posted to facebook when they were published*.

    If your WordPress posts were cross-posted to Facebook before you installed the plugin or were cross-posted to Facebook via any other mechanism, WPBook won’t know about them.

    (Specifically WPBook Lite looks for an entry in the post_meta table representing the id of a wall post in Facebook, then looks for comments on those Facebook posts).
