FB event ID not importing

    Hi – I imported FB events via ID last year with no issue. Today, the FB event isn’t importing (the screen just refreshes after entering the FB ID and clicking on ‘Import Event’). The plugin is up to date in my dashboard and my FB app is working and authorised.

    Can you help please?

    I had this problem today – I realized I hadn’t clicked interested or going on a few events. Once I did I was able to import again. You might double check that you did that first and see if it will import properly.

    Hi @sallyboyton,

    Can you please reauthorize it if token has expired and mark event as Interested and try it. Let us know if still issue.

    @karangadhavi I’m getting an error when I click on reauthorise:

    Invalid Scopes: user_events, groups_access_member_info. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions

    Have followed the instructions but can’t find where the issue is – does this error give you a clue??

    Hi @sallyboyton,

    Make sure that app is in-development mode and not live.

    Make sure app is as per guideline given here
