    I personally think you should try to keep this plugin pretty simple and don’t expand it as much as wpunited. That plugin just messed around with too many files and so when wordpress updated, the plugin would always break.

    Anyways, something small I would like to see in this plugin would be to be able to display the who is online data from the forum in a widget.

    Just a suggestion 🙂

    I don’t think they should make it too complicated, but there are some features that are important to some ppl. For example, Cross-posting is a bog deal on my site and some users may leave or get very upset without this feature. It’s one of main reasons I, and possibly a few others, are holding off on this mod.

    The author of wpu literally left us all without any warning and then his website got blasted with spam. However, despite wpus complexity it got the job done before it was outdated. So, I agree that perhaps somethings may be a bit much, but other things will help make the plugin a more feature rich experience for those that need one.
