• Hello,

I need some help with posts and feature image. I added a feature image to the post. The image is very large. The image uploaded in the media has the dimensions 150×150.

In the blog theme for blog entries the blog style is “thumbnail”. If I go to Single Post in the theme, I cannot see how I can set the size of the images. I see related post image height and with, which are both set to 0.

I have also elementor installed, but the post was not created with elementor.

What I do wrong with the image size? I have regenerated the thumbnails using the WP-CLI.

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Please try to upload a larger size image and check it works or not. It seems you have uploaded a thumbnail size image – 150x150px for the featured image.

    Thanks for your reply.

I have now uploaded another image 1280×723. It’s a png.

Now the image looks better, but this is not the thumbnail. Changing blog style to large icon or thumbnail makes no difference. It appears the picture shown in the article is the large icon.

    Any other idea?

    Thanks

It seems you are using a different block to display the latest post. Try to use default oceanwp blog template and check it works or not properly. Also, try to recreate the blog entry layout.

    Hello,

Not sure what you mean with “a different block”. The post was created with the WP editor Gutenberg. The blog entry has no image only the featured image.

I understand that I can influence the display with the Blog settings in the OceanWP theme with “Blog entries” and “single post” So I’m looking at the “single post” settings

Where can I set the “default oceanwp blog template”?

    Thanks
    Edy

Just create a page and set it as a blog page from the Dashboard > Settings > Reading page.
