Feature post ONLY for posts marked Sticky

    Hi,

    For my blog, I want to have featured posts ONLY be ones that I define as sticky. I also don’t want these posts, appearing in the list, if they are featured. I can’t seem to obtain this combination using the Settings, Custom CSS.

    In pars/featured.php I even changed ‘ignore_sticky_posts’ 1 –> to ‘ignore_sticky_posts’ 0 –>. The result I get however is 2 featured posts – one that is sticky (which also appears in list) and one that is my most recent.

    How can I obtain:
    a) 1 featured post only (that’s defined as sticky)
    b) This post only appearing as featured (and not in the list)
    c) My most recent post not being featured and only appearing in the list

    Hi,

    Featured posts uses category.

    Instead of using sticky posts, you can created a category named featured and assign posts to it and set this as the featured posts.
