    Hi there,

    We’re using the Product Builder for WooCommerce – Custom PC Builder plugin and loving it so far – great job! 🙌

    However, we would really appreciate a feature that allows out-of-stock products to still be visible and selectable in the product builder list. This would help us:

    • Show customers all available options, including those temporarily out of stock
    • Let customers configure their ideal build even if a part is being restocked soon
    • Take pre-orders or notify customers when parts become available again

    Would it be possible to implement a toggle or setting to enable this behavior?

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    Actually, we have an option for that, showing out of stock item, but it’s available in the premium plugin: https://snipboard.io/EIFzW7.jpg

    Still, you might not be able to add that out-of-stock item to cart and need a solution for pre-order, or backorder so customer can buy one while waiting for it to be restocked.

    I used this option then I see but I still can’t press select so that they go into the store

    Out-of-stock items can’t be added to the cart. If you want customers to be able to select them, you may consider making those products available for backorder in your WooCommerce settings.

    Our plugin’s option is only for showing or hiding out-of-stock items on the product builder page – it doesn’t override WooCommerce rules to allow adding unavailable items to the cart.
