    @wpmudev or any developer using this plugin

    is there anyway you’d consider adding the ability to insert instagram, flickr and other oembed image urls as an option to just uploading the image directly?

    much like you do with the video button ?

    seems like it would be very easy as all its doing is inserting a url

    really i’d love to see the plugin give members the option to “link” their instagram accounts and be able to browse thumbnails from an ajax window then select the thumb then it inserts the url …asking our members to get image urls is what we do now and its definitely not user friendly

    any thoughts on going forward with this?

    is this something i could pay WPMUDEV or someone to do ? if so what solution and how much?

    That is a good idea. I’ve mentioned this to the developer, hopefully in the future this can be looked into 🙂

    thanks @mike i just remembered a plugin i used to use years ago similar to the instagram feature i mentioned where you can browse your personal instagram / twitter media etc and select via thumbnail which photo you’d like to post

    this had very similar functionality it pulled in your flickr account into the wordpress post admin ..you click a button ajax windows come up with thumbnails and you were able to navigate your flickr account without leaving the wordpress edit post box

    perhaps WPMUDEV could pay for the development by offering a free and paid version of this plugin i’m sure myself and many others would pay for this
