    Yes I should have been more clear. What I would like is the ability to create/name a folder within the uploads folder when adding files or what might work better is the ability to define a path to an existing folder.

    What I am experiencing is that I have a lot of files that I would like to display but do not want clogging up the Media view within WordPress.

    I realize that this may not be possible or too much effort. Just a suggestion.

    Thanks for clarifying.

    Unfortunately, just because of how Document Gallery is designed, that will likely never happen. Everything is built dependant on logic WordPress exposes for its attachments. If we’re dealing with arbitrary files that may or may not be “attached” within WordPress, we’d have to manually handle all of that logic.

    I’ll keep it in mind, but just don’t want you to get your hopes up.
