This could even be advanced by adding a small icon (e.g. a exclamation mark) showing that there is a newer version on ww.wp.xz.cn than currently used ….

It is already an option … If the plugin is hosted by WordPress you can add a link to the plugin page
Nevertheless there is no plan to show on the displayed page the update information as this plugin is for end user and not for the admin of the site

I can’t find the option to make a listed plugin downloadable from ww.wp.xz.cn instead if my own site.

Yes it could but it is not the purpose of that plugin : thus I do not think I will implement this feature

If the plugin is hosted on wordpress, ,no zip files are created but a link to the offical page is generated
