Feature request: Actual Multi-Site support
-
Hello,
First of all, I love the concept of this plugin! The concept should be basic WP functionality!!
Second, please remove the F.A.Q. rule that this site is Multisite compatible. This plug-in is in current state build for a single-site and is useless for multi-site.
Example; I run a blog farm with 100WP sites and 30+ plugins. Each with there own administrator and there selective plugins enabled. In this situation I encounter the following problems that don’t make this plug-in multi-site compatible:
- The features of the plugin (grouping, ordering, etc.) don’t show up in the multi-site environment.
- In my opinion the load order of plug-ins and grouping should be managed by a super-admin, network-wide not a site-administrator on individual blogs.
- Functionality to completely disable “order” and “grouping” options for sub-site administrators. They should be able to see the loading order of plugin’s available for them on the WP-plugin admin page, but not change it.
With other words is it possible to:
- If multisite install, run plugin order and grouping functionality on multisite level
- If multisite install, all sub sites use the config of the main blog
- If subsite admin, no ordering, grouping or other ‘edit’ features. Plugin ordering should be a multi-site admin only thing.
