• This is not a bug, but an idea for consideration.

The “Author Root Page” functionality is extremely useful, as it lets us “back in” some hierarchy that is organizationally logical, but might not be cooked into how WordPress thinks. It would be great if as an OPTION, there were a couple of additional override roots.

For example the breadcrumbs to this page (https://johnnyamerica.wpsc.site/archives/category/dispatches/) read as “Johnny America (site) > Dispatches (category)”. Which is certainly workable, but I would love to be able to add an override root to make it “Johnny America (site) > ARCHIVES (PAGE) > Dispatches (category)”

Similarly, on individual posts (e.g. https://johnnyamerica.wpsc.site/archives/2021/08/20/07.00.00/sticker-sighting-shoreditch-london/), I would love to be able to add an override to make it “Johnny America (site) > ARCHIVES (PAGE) > Dispatches (category) > (title)

Apologies if this is already asked and answered elsewhere and I didn’t find the request in my search of the forum.
