Feature Request: Bidirectional between fields in same group

    I couldn’t find a more appropriate place for this request so hopefully someone will read it.

    I’ve been using the plugin in a few weeks and it’s great. The only issue I’ve had is that I can’t establish a bidirectional relationship between fields in the same Field Group. Maybe it’s not possible but if it can be added that would be great.

    My specific use case is that I have a custom post type of Person and I’d like to connect siblings together. I have separate groups set up for Mother and Father and Children that work fine. But there’s no way to connect the sibling fields together across posts.

    Anyway, hope this can be added at some point.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback! This feature will be available in the upcoming update. You’ll be able to set a self-bidirectional setting (by setting the relation on itself). This will allow what you’re asking for.

    The next update will also let you set multiple relationships (only one-to-one relation is available right now), this will greatly help users very complex scenarios.

    Just to let you know that the latest 0.8.6.3 Update added this feature. You can now link a field on itself, allowing self-bidirectional save.
