Hi RubengC:
Thanks for your message. Can you clarify your enhancement suggestion a bit more? Right now you can grant/revoke access to an individual user on their user profile page by setting their role to SUPPORT USER. It’s not a button – its a drop-down choice so its two clicks instead of one. I don’t know that a button would make that so much simpler that it’s worth cluttering up the user screen with yet another visual element.
I am not sure about the other suggestion – can you help clarify that? What would be the default roles set and who would get access to these default roles? Usually an existing WordPress site has a number of different classes of users with varying roles. So having a button that changes all their roles or add capabilities to all their existing roles with one click – I’m not sure how useful that would be. I suspect you have a specific situation in mind but I’m not quite seeing how it applies to the larger universe yet.
Looking forward to continuing this discussion!
Hi
The reason to Grant/Revoke access to specific user(s) is to keep the current user role (for example customer)
About setting up default roles to allow access to the frontend area is to get this feature done from awesome support instead from other one, my desired behavior about this is allow users with role ‘customer’ access to this area
I have finished a plugin to take this, I Will submit today to wp plugin review
Finally I add a checkbox in user profile to grant/revoke access and a new section in advanced tab
I submitted “Awesome Support – Access Manager” plugin to review, in the meantime you can check it here:

Thanks for all!
Hey – That’s great. It might be the first Awesome Support extension on ww.wp.xz.cn!
Oh, hey, I didn’t know about that one. Thanks!
