• Hi tim,

    this is Robert Skiba.

I am the german translator of LocoTranslate.

I would have two small requests:

    – Could you please make the area “relocation” completely translatable? Those strings are not yet compatible with Gnu/Gettext and I can’t translate them.

    – Currently, it is not really obvious if a translation is synced with the POT-File or another another PO-File of the same language. It would be great if this would be more obvious and if there was an option where to sync with.

Example: I want to customize the automatically installed german translation of a plugin because I want to change some texts to my needs. Then, its best to sync with the german translation that is provided by the author or ww.wp.xz.cn of course. It then, the author implements new strings, I automatically get the original german translations from the plugins translation-file of course. But it would be great if you could configure this behaviour somewhere in the settings of the specific plugin.

    Hi Robert.

Could you please make the area “relocation” completely translatable?

Thank you, yes. I often hard code the copy for new features as it’s likely to change drastically. However, I have had zero feedback on this feature, so it seems fair to localise it now. I’ll patch this in 2.3.4 (or 2.4).

Currently, it is not really obvious if a translation is synced with the POT-File

I’ll add this to the wish list. It would be useful to see what the source of a PO file is (code, POT or PO). I can’t promise anything soon on that though. I’m snowed with other, bigger things.

and if there was an option where to sync with.

    Likewise. Good idea.
