• Jeff, I had an idea for a feature today that might have some value to the user base.

Currently, you can turn things on/off on a page by page basis.

What if in the expanding “Disabled” box you added a button to “Create Filter” which would then either push those settings to a newly created filter (after saving/updating the post/page) – or launch a pop-up which would give the user an input for a name, auto-populate the slug based on current page, and then maybe the “Also Affect Children box” as well.

    Thoughts?

While I like the granularity of page by page – I find filters more valuable when working on large sites with new plugins being introduced here and there.

I’m not sure how useful that would really be. You could do the same thing by taking the permalink from the post/page and creating a plugin filter. It would take a bit of work from me on the plugin side to create a feature like that.
