Feature request: export functionality similar to WordPress posts

    WordPress posts and pages can be exported using several different options:

    1. Category
    2. Author
    3. Start + End Date
    4. Status

    It would be helpful to have the same export functionality in Docspress.

    I’m sure people have different use cases, but for us it comes down to posting a document on one site and needing an identical document on another (as well as from staging/dev environments). Exporting all of the documents and editing the XML works, of course, but with WordPress’ functionality it makes it much quicker. Especially since documents are constantly being added/edited.

    Hey.

    These filters are hardcoded in the WordPress code and I don’t see any possibility to easily tell the Exporter that our custom post types need to have the filters.

    I think you have to use 3rd-party plugins to export post types.
