  • Hello @isabellaft12 ! Thank you for your suggestion. We currently support gradient applied to text boxes. To achieve this, select “fill” as a background on the text element then open the color picker to select a linear or radial gradient.

Does this work for you, or were you looking to apply a gradient on the text itself?

    Hi Luckyna,

I was looking to apply on the text itself. Could you add this in the suggestion features?

Thank you for the help, it didn’t even know I could apply gradient to the text box.

    Best.

Luckyna, can you answer something else:
Regarding the “tap back” and “tap next” guide text that appears, what determines the language in which this text is displayed? I tried changing the browser language but the text still shows in english.

    Regards.

@isabellaft12 Just for reference, I have opened a feature request in this GitHub ticket. Feel free to subscribe and monitor that issue for any progress on the matter.

Regarding the “tap back” and “tap next” guide text

If possible, could you share a screenshot of what you are referring to? You can use services like JumpShare to share.

    These buttons:

Are they always in english or it’s adaptable to the user’s country/language?

    Best.

The translation is based on the browser/OS language preference setting. Since Web Stories are powered by AMP and the Web Stories post is an AMP document, you can follow AMP guides to learn how these strings can be translated at https://github.com/ampproject/amphtml, specifically here.

    Hi Luckyna,

Are those languages files present in the wordpress plugin? I couldn’t find the folder with the languages files.

    Thank you,
    Regards.
