    Hello Noahj Champion,

First of all thank you so much for the 5 start review. I see few people are suggesting new features by giving poor rating. Wired! But you didn’t do that πŸ™‚

Yes. That option will be in my consideration. I will try to include that in future updates.

    Thanks!

    Yeah, sorry to hear that.

Some people don’t have a Joomla Heart, I say that because Joomla, the word sounds kind of witchy, haha. But yeah, sorry to hear that. I’ve always hoped that WordPress would change the comment form so reviewer have to answer whether or not they asked for support yet, etc. Just something to help reviews be more sensible. There are so many plugin issues with other plugins that can happen and some people never consider help. They just come by and say your plugin sucks and leave. And then when authors ask them what was wrong so they can look into it, they never respond. Reviews like that shouldn’t exist, let alone stay existent… they should be removed at some point. I love WordPress, but I think this is under their responsibility to tighten the review area up for the sake of authors, plugin success, more accurate review ratings, and even more benefits.

    I appreciate you considering this!

Is there anyway that I can achieve this now you think?

I can’t get rid of the user Feedback plugin, but I also don’t want to move to use a different 404 plugin.

    Well said Noahj.

Does our plugin make any problem for user Feedback plugin to not work properly? I mean, is it redirecting those file requests? Or just logging that in 404 error log?

    Thanks.

It is just logging 404 errors. User Feedback works properly.

I was thinking off hand maybe there is a .htaccess file I can add that would block the indexing?

    I had I think about 264 404 logs. I’m glad I had the email notifications off. πŸ™‚
    – I had an issue with a premium plugin I demoed before and it was buggy and I got email notifications for nearly half a year later. It was an email follow up plugin.

Ahh… and I meant they do have a Joomla heart, not a WordPress heart. No offense to Joomla. Just the comedian in me.

    Ha ha. Ok

So, I can help you to exclude that from logs. As mentioned above, I will include that option in new version.

If you want to do that now itself, I have added a solution in GitHub repo. Will you be able to change few lines of code if I show you?

    Oh yeah!

    Link me!

    And thanks, really appreciate it!

    Here is the file.

Please replace the entire code of the file if you couldn’t find the modified lines.

    Line 151 and 234

Note : I have added plugins/user-feedback/css/src to exclude from logging. You can add multiple strings in that array

    Awesome!

I updated the file and it seems to be working fine for me.

    Appreciate it Joel!
    – If I run into any other problems like this I will just update you on those exclusions.
