[Feature Request] Keeping IPTC-Data if needed

    Hi Jordy,

    First of all – thank you for your work!

    I would looooove to keep the IPTC Data (Copyright, Title, Description etc.), but WP Retina 2x deletes all of it. Wouldn’t it be great to have a choice? You are a photographer yourself and I am looking forward to your thoughts.

    You are welcome 🙂

    Actually the plugin doesn’t delete it, it uses the API of WordPress to create the images. So that doesn’t depend on the retina plugin, it depends more on your WordPress. Normally it doesn’t remove this info.

    For example, upload one of my thumbnail images from the Totoro Times first page on the excellent tool here: http://regex.info/exif.cgi. You will see, all the information are there.

    Try with a normal thumbnail, not retina. Do you have the EXIF?
