@lcwilson18 thanks for expressing your interest in a Pro/paid version. I’m somewhat hesitant to offer a lifetime license for an ASE Pro version because of the sustainability aspect, especially since ASE is a complex product (codewise) backed by a one-man dev team (me, at least for the near future).
Between these two, which would you prefer?
- Yearly subscription at an ‘affordable’ price, so you can be sure you’ll have support as long as your subscription is active.
- Lifetime license (and updates) with limited support period (e.g. maximum 2 years of support). Additional support can be purchased separately, or on an “as needed basis”.
You could offer both, but I would prefer a lifetime license, I would only purchase a product if it only has a lifetime license option.
