Feature Request – Nesting & Date Time Stamps

    Hey Sormano,

    Super cool plugin! I mentioned it here in the must have wordpress plugins discussion on reddit.

    Two ideas that I’ve had are nesting and date/time stamps. If items could be nested, it’d be pretty darn close to a site project management solution. And who doesn’t like date/time stamps on everything?? Maybe it could display the date/time when a note was created on hover in a faded, smaller font with the delete and move icons.

    I like the nested idea, I think i’ve tried to do that before but it was pretty hard to do for the first version.
    I’ve re-added it to my list to check that 🙂

    About the date/time, would you suggest it on a note basis or on a list item basis?

    I’d suggest on a list item basis. Just to help with when ideas were added.

    I will give it a thought and try some stuff out. I think it will be hard with positioning and displaying though…

    Any thoughts on that?

    Yeah, I think that you are right about positioning and display. Definitely not worth cluttering up the interface either.

    I noticed in another thread that you mentioned these are custom post types, available via the url wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=note Maybe date/time could be some meta data that can be viewed by via the post editor if needed??

    Honesty, I’ve forgotten why I was needing the date/time. (I put it in a WP Dashboard Notes checklist with feature ideas a while back). If it comes back to me, I’ll update you, but the nesting is something that would really be awesome!
