Feature request (or new plugin) – file cleanup?

First: thanks for a great plugin.

Now to my request. I’ve been checking up on my WordPress backups, and was surprised to see, that a quite a large share of the plugin size, can be related to unused language files.

Sample: UpDraft Plus is 17 MB total. The language files counts for 10 MB (!)

So a feature, to traverse and remove all the .po and .mo files, except of the two I actually need, would reduce my backup size and times.

I know, that the language files would be re-introduced, once a plugin is updated – but surely would find the time to trim my installation during regular maintenance.

Other files that could be considered purged, might be unused media, cache, remains from uninstalled plugins, etc. Think CCleaner for WordPress. I even think there might be a market for a premium plugin if done well.
